Common - Gears
AMS planetary gears are used for driving all kinds of machines and equipment running at low speed.
Gear housing
The gear housing is made of sturdy aluminium-die-casting.
Gears
The toothed gears are machined from highly waer - sun gears are hardened.
Output shaft
The output shafts with diameters up to 50 mm are machined to an ISA fit k6. The feather keys are made according to DIN 6885 sheet 1. All shafts have a tapped centre hole according to DIN 332.
Bearings
The gear units are equipped with ball bearings, which ensure a long life and high operational safety.
Sealings
The units are oil-tight.
Lubrication
Gear boxes are filled with lubricant when supplied. Grease lubrication for a long life.

Enclosure
Enclusure according to DIN 40050.
IP 44 is standard.
IP 54 etc. available against surcharge.
Insulation
Insulation class is B according to VDE 0530.
Insulation class F against surcharge.
Standard Voltage
Permanent magnet engines: Armature voltage is 170 V
Shunt wound engines: Armature UA 180 V, Field UF 200V |
